Ray, Caring for Wife

“It’s rare when you find a professional that knows their trade and exudes a strong desire to provide personal service to other people. Dawn is that one of a kind person. She has been an invaluable resource for my family and me, as we have had to deal with the pressures of caring for elderly parents. I’m not sure how we would have survived this season without the caring and loving support Dawn gave. Her work is top notch, spot on and excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend her.”

Frank H., Caregiver for Parents

"Dawn is outstanding! While providing excellent suggestions and resources, she totally understands the caregiver and impact the role has on your life and relationships. The validation of feelings and concerns in an open, confidential setting along with good advices based on experience and knowledge provide a guaranteed valuable investment of your time! I recommend it highly!"

Dawn, thank you so very much for making yourself available today.  As you saw, Dad has become resistant to advice he doesn't want to hear.  However, with your facts and experience, I think we've convinced him what needs to happen.  He certainly wants to be the one who makes the call.  Also, I appreciate you supporting my brother's role in everything and what he and his wife has to offer.
Dawn, you truly are gifted at this role, and my family has been so blessed by your gifts.

I have a 91 year old mother with Alzheimer's in an assisted living facility near our home. I also have a 78 year old husband who has been diagnosed with Frontal, Temporal Dementia and still lives at home. I have been attending a support group which I enjoy very much. It is a chance to get away and to spend time with people who can actually carry on a conversation. I look forward to this day every month.” Shirley C.
The care givers support group has been very helpful to me as I care for my husband who has Alzheimer’s. The 6 weeks Powerful Tools Class I attended also helped me find ways to deal with stress in daily caregiving.”  Mary J.
